Park behind the SA Cook Building and enter the back door. You may take the elevator to the second floor (or go down the hall to the stairs if you prefer). Suite 17 is on the north end of the building. You will see a waiting room to the right, the door is in that waiting room on the north wall.

This course will cover the basics of knitting (and purling) using two straight knitting needles at a price that can’t be beat. Thanks to the GoArt SRC grant program, all materials needed for this class are provided at no cost. You will receive a set of knitting needles and yarn, all of which you can keep.

Cast On and Cast Off (starting and stopping knitting)
The knit and purl stitches

Want to take your fiber craft to the next level? Whether your into spinning, felting, or both, you will enjoy this class where you will learn about dying your own wool.
This class will focus specifically on how to space dye wool, which is a technique used to create color repeats in wool.

This course is the second part of learning how to spin on a drop spindle. It expects that you are able to spin a single (yarn that has been spun one time, also known as a 1 ply yarn) and will cover the basics of plying yarn using a drop spindle.
The course will cover the following topics:
How plying affects yarn
Plying from 2 or more singles using a Lazy Kate
Chain plying using 1 single
